Checkpoint Purchase Terms

Version 1 · in effect since 17 Oct 2026

Public agreement.

These Terms govern the purchase of an AI Checkpoint: a 28-day progress checkpoint for one game project, run by GDHub's AI curator. They are offered by:

Individual Entrepreneur Dzmitry Drynau (individual entrepreneur), legal entity code 306422564, registered at Police Street I Dead End, N5, Samgori District, Tbilisi 0182, Georgia, email office@gdhub.io (the "Platform", "we"), operating gdhub.io.

How this agreement is concluded. By ticking the box for these Terms and paying, you accept them in full, together with the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. A second box at checkout is your request to start at once under 5.2. Where these Terms and the Terms of Use differ about a Checkpoint, these Terms prevail.

Who may buy. A Checkpoint is bought by the owner of the project on gdhub.io, who must be 18 or over with full legal capacity, or act for a legal entity as its authorised representative. Ticking the box for these Terms confirms it.

1. What you buy

An AI Checkpoint runs 28 days on one stage of one project. It is software: the AI curator is an automated system, and no person reviews your project or holds calls with you. It includes:

  1. A goal card: what the project has now, the tasks that must be done by the end, and the goal in one sentence. Right after you pay, the AI curator reads your goal and suggests tasks; you write one to five tasks, the AI curator checks them once, and you approve the plan.
  2. Written reviews of the team's work from the AI curator on days 8, 15 and 22, read from your devlogs, the artifacts, the project's activity and the team's check-ins on gdhub.io, against the goal, the tasks and what the project's stage expects.
  3. A final review with the verdict once the 28 days are over: ready for the next stage, goal met, or goal missed.
  4. A certificate of the closed Checkpoint, issued to the project and carried by its owner, whose name is on it (Section 8).
  5. The gdhub.io tools the Checkpoint runs on for its duration: the goal card, the devlogs, the evidence slots for each task, the weekly check-ins and the reminders.

We provide and are responsible for the whole of this service, including the part delivered by our AI provider.

2. What a Checkpoint is not

  1. It is not a promise that the goal will be met. The verdict may be "goal missed", and that is a legitimate outcome of the service you bought.
  2. It is not development work. The AI curator writes no code, draws no art, and does no line-by-line code review.
  3. It is not consulting, advisory services, coaching, education or training, nor investment, funding, publishing, an introduction to a publisher, legal advice, accounting advice, or a formally accredited qualification. It is an automated software assessment of your own project against the goal you set.
  4. It gives the Platform no ownership, equity, revenue share or licence in your project beyond Section 8.
  5. The AI curator's reviews are generated by software and may be wrong. Decisions about your project stay yours.

3. Price and payment

  1. The price is shown before you pay, in USD. It is one price for any project. A promotion code, where you have one, is applied at checkout.
  2. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle takes the payment, charges the taxes that apply in your country, sends the receipt and handles order inquiries and refunds. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to the payment. These Terms govern what the Checkpoint is and how it runs.
  3. The price is taken at once, and the Checkpoint starts on the day you pay, or on the later day you chose.

4. When it starts

  1. Day 1 is the day the Checkpoint starts under 3.3.
  2. A project runs one Checkpoint at a time.

5. Withdrawal, cancellation and refunds

  1. A Checkpoint starts when you pay, or on the later day you chose. 5.2 applies to it.

  2. Statutory right of withdrawal, and starting at once. As a consumer in the European Union you may withdraw from a Checkpoint within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract, without giving a reason. A Checkpoint starts before those 14 days are over. By ticking the second box at checkout, under Articles 8(8), 14(3) and 16(a) of Directive 2011/83/EU:

    • you expressly ask us to start the Checkpoint before the withdrawal period ends, on the day shown at checkout;
    • you acknowledge that once the Checkpoint has been fully performed you lose the right of withdrawal;
    • you acknowledge that if you withdraw after it has started and within the 14 days, you pay for what has already been provided: you are refunded the price less an amount proportionate to it, the goal card and the reviews written, measured against everything the Checkpoint includes. Nothing else is deducted.

To withdraw, write to office@gdhub.io from the address of your account, or send any other clear statement that you withdraw. You may use this wording:

I withdraw from the Checkpoint for the project [name], bought on [date]. Name, email of the account, date.

We confirm receipt, and the refund that is due is paid through Paddle within 14 days of receiving it, to the payment method you used, without charging you for the refund. If you buy for a business, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply; 5.3 to 5.6 do.

  3. After the 14 days the price is not refundable, except under 5.4.

  4. When we did not deliver. The value of what was not performed is refunded if no final review with a verdict was written within 3 days after day 28 and we had to close the Checkpoint, or if we cancelled the Checkpoint.

  5. When you did not take part, no refund is due: publishing no devlogs, attaching no evidence, or stopping work on the project do not make the service undelivered.

  6. Refunds are paid by Paddle to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days, in full of what is refundable. See also the Refund Policy.

  7. Nothing in this Section affects mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

6. What you agree to do

  1. Show the work as it happens. Publish your devlogs, and attach evidence (a build, a link, a file) to each task on the goal card as it lands, and in any case before the verdict. A task with nothing attached may count as not done.
  2. Answer the weekly check-in, you and each member, that you are still working on the project. Publishing a devlog or attaching evidence that week counts as the answer.
  3. Give accurate information about the project, the team and what already exists. The goal card rests on it.
  4. Answer for your team. Members act under your responsibility; you make sure they know these Terms, agree to their contributions being used in the Checkpoint, and behave under the Terms of Use.

7. The goal and the verdict

  1. The goal and the tasks may be changed after you pay until you approve them. Once the AI curator has checked the tasks, the plan approves itself as it stands 12 hours later if you have not approved it. Then they are fixed.
  2. The tasks may be changed once more, around day 15: from the third review until you confirm them, and for no more than 24 hours after it. The goal does not change, a task already proven by evidence does not change, and every change is kept beside the first wording, never over it.
  3. The verdict is measured against the goal card as it stood after day 15, and against nothing else.
  4. You may not appeal the verdict as such. You may complain about how the Checkpoint was run under Section 13.
  5. A further Checkpoint is bought separately. There is no extension inside a Checkpoint.

8. Your content, the certificate and what is public

  1. You keep every right in your project and in everything you upload.
  2. You grant the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and show your devlogs, the goal card, the evidence you attach, the reviews and the verdict to your team, and to process them with our AI provider, for the purpose of running the Checkpoint and keeping its record.
  3. The certificate is public. Anyone with its number can see, at gdhub.io/verify, the project's name, cover and description, the owner named on it, the stage, the dates, that it was run by the AI curator, the goal and the verdict. Nothing else from inside the Checkpoint is public.
  4. You warrant that you hold the rights to everything you upload and that showing it breaks no third-party right. We remove content that does.
  5. The record of a closed Checkpoint and its certificate stay on the Platform after the Checkpoint ends, including after you close your account, because they are a record other people rely on.

9. Confidentiality

What you put into the Checkpoint is shown only to your team and to the Platform's staff who run the service. Our AI provider processes it to write the reviews, and under its API terms does not use it to train its models.

10. Personal data

We process your data and your team's data to run the Checkpoint, as described in the Privacy Policy, including the AI curator's reviews through our AI provider. Do not upload personal data of people who have not agreed to it.

11. Conduct

The Terms of Use apply throughout. False statements about what was delivered, or the misuse of another project's material, end the Checkpoint immediately and without refund.

12. Our liability

  1. We are liable for delivering the Checkpoint as described in these Terms.
  2. We are not liable for the commercial or creative outcome of your project, for whether the goal is met, for decisions you take on the AI curator's reviews, or for the acts of your team members.
  3. Except for intent, gross negligence, and damage to life or health, our total liability for one Checkpoint is limited to the price you paid for it.
  4. Neither side is liable for failure caused by events outside its control, provided it tells the other side without delay.
  5. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer law.

13. Complaints and disputes

  1. Write to office@gdhub.io. We answer within 14 days.
  2. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union and we cannot agree, you may apply to the consumer-protection authority of your country of residence.
  3. These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Disputes are decided by the courts of Georgia at our registered seat. If you are a consumer, the mandatory law of your country of residence applies to you where it gives you better protection or a different forum.

14. Changes

  1. We may change these Terms. We notify registered users at least 14 days before a change takes effect.
  2. A Checkpoint already paid for continues under the version you accepted. Changes apply to Checkpoints bought afterwards.

15. Language

These Terms are written in English.
